Paul Miller, Executive Director
Nye County Regional Economic Development Authority known as NCREDA

Paul has been a community member in Nye County for 20 years. His has both a Military and Government background and has spent many years living in other countries.

Paul explained NCREDA’s job is primarily to retain the businesses we have in Nye County and to develop and entice new and established businesses to move to Nye County.  NCREDA overall goals are to foster and encourage responsible, sustainable economic development activities that result in job creation, job retention, and increase tax base and improve the quality of life for the citizens of Nye. NCREDA was established in 2012 by County and State officials under the Nevada Governor’s Economic Development initiative.

Paul related that he is not alone; he has a Board of Directors whom have shown and provided nothing but fantastic support for the NCREDA mission.

"I think most people in Nye just don’t know how many county and state officials, other organizations, non-profits and other businesses consider NCREDA mission so important to the future economic development of Nye County. NCREDA direct support comes from Small Business Development Counselor Allan Parker, and Executive Assistant Michelle Banuelos, who are the backbone of NCREDA.  I want everyone who is thinking about opening up a new business or taking over a local business from a previous owner to contact this office. I want to provide any assistance I can to Nye County business owners and if NCREDA is not able to help, to find someone who will, whether that is a bank, a realtor, state or federal agency  or a service provided by Nye County. NCREDA also has a Revolving Loan Fund that can help startup businesses and existing businesses to expand if needed. Drop by and talk about your idea for a business in Nye County. I’m looking for entrepreneurs.  If you know someone who wants to do a startup business or a business that is considering moving, please contact me."
